Today it’s easier than ever for clubs and organizations to communicate with their members. In the past it was necessary for someone in the club to know HTML (web language) to publish a simple website and they were the only ones that could make changes. Now with the developments on CMS (Content Management Systems) any club member can easily learn to make changes to the website. Software like WordPress, Joomla and others allow content to be managed from your browser and for a surprisingly small fee they can be setup and operations in a short time.

Advantages of having a club website:

No print costs

Available anytime day or night

Gain new members by having them find you.

Share club information (news, documents, photos, etc.)

Promote your clubs activities with an event calendar

Enhance communication by making it two way (forum)

Professional image and just plain cool

Does your club need a website? Please contact me, I’ll help you determine inexpensive options like creating a WordPress website or if you need something more complex, maybe a Joomla website would fit the bill. It’s less costly than you imagine and easy too.
